                             Friday clubs

Last Friday we done Friday clubs, were we have to get all our work completed to be on Friday clubs the clubs were, bread making (pretzels), baking (toffee fudge) & Art... the bread making failed cause the dough didn't rise. but we thought round the problem and ended up cooking it anyway. The final product was really hard and burnt (even though we cooked it for a short time), we had a fun day overall... THE END.  

Ballast pt 2

when i first looked at the ballast maths pickle task. i thought it would be hard but when i came round to doing it i found it was easy once i had worked out how how to solve the maths equations. now i quite enjoy doing them.

Weekly Reflection

This week we have been learning how to: solve Byzantine Dromon, 700AD maths problems where we have to keep the boat afloat. To solve this there are 5 numbers,that you have to multiply two of the numbers and then add the three that are left but they all have to equal the same number. For example. with the second column 2x6 =12 so the three numbers left have to = 12 so i put 3+4+5 wich = 12. The first column was not possible to solve.

Wearable Arts

            

this term we have been working on wearable arts witch is where we work on making a costume witch was fun the members in our group are Jessie, Shakanna & me. 

it was a difficult task but we got there in the end we have a day where we show off our costumes & we get judged on many things like how well we did how it looks and the work we done in our workbook.
we had to do a overall reflection on our progress aswell.

The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas

This term we have been reading the novel The Boy In The Striped Pyjamas. I am really enjoying the novel because it is interesting because it is based on true events.
In this chapter we read that Bruno is leaving Out-With and going back to Berlin. He is sad because he is going to miss his friend Shmuel. They have decided that Shmuel will get a spare pair of striped pyjamas and Bruno would put them on and go under the fence to play.
I think that Bruno might die soon.

My Passion Project

For the past two weeks we have had a chance to work on a passion project. A passion project is when we have to chose a topic that we are really interested in. I chose Melanie Adele Martinez because she is my favourite singer and I love her.

Weekly Reflection T3Wk2

Hi Everyone.
This week has been pretty average. Miss Hines was away on Monday and Tuesday so we had Miss Lagen. For ICT we had to create a slide about ourselves to introduce us to our Tuhi Mai, Tuhi Atu buddies.
Here is mine.

We have been also reading See Ya Simon. We had to complete some comprehension questions around the chapters we have been reading. So far I am really enjoying the book. I like it better than our last class novel which was Kensuke's Kingdom.

This week I have completed all of my 20 quick questions for Maths. The green ones are the ones that I got right, the red ones are ones that I still need to work on. (In other words I failed miserably!)
